172nd Law Enforcement Detachment departs to support Europe mission
WILLISTON, Vermont - Maj. Gen. Greg Knight speaks at the sendoff ceremony for the Vermont National Guard's 172nd Law Enforcement Detachment in Williston, Vermont, Jan. 25, 2021. The 172nd LED, part of Garrison Support Command, will depart to Fort Bliss, Texas, for evaluation and processing before deploying in support of U.S. European Command operations. Knight is Vermont's adjutant general.
