Vermont ARNG holds sendoff for Task Force Mansfield

CAMP JOHNSON, Vermont — The Vermont Army National Guard held a sendoff ceremony May 18, 2021, at Camp Johnson, Vermont, for Soldiers assigned to Task Force Mansfield and the 172nd Public Affairs Detachment. The Soldiers among the last of about 1,000 to deploy to U.S. European Command and U.S. Central Command to support federal missions.

A groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Army Mountain Warfare School at the Camp Ethan Allen Training Site in Jericho, Vermont, is scheduled for Nov. 5, 2020. This rendition depicts the design of the $27 million facility, scheduled to be complete in April 2022.

Construction begins on new Army Mountain Warfare School facility

JERICHO, Vermont — The Vermont National Guard is scheduled to break ground on a new $27 million facility for the Army Mountain Warfare School at the Camp Ethan Allen Training Site here Nov. 5.
