Vermont ARNG holds sendoff for Task Force Mansfield
CAMP JOHNSON, Vermont — The Vermont Army National Guard held a sendoff ceremony May 18, 2021, at Camp Johnson, Vermont, for Soldiers assigned to Task Force Mansfield and the 172nd Public Affairs Detachment. The Soldiers among the last of about 1,000 to deploy to U.S. European Command and U.S. Central Command to support federal missions.

Vermont Guard to construct light demolition range at CEATS
CAMP JOHNSON, Vermont — Construction for a Light Demolition Range will begin this summer on the Vermont Army National Guard’s Camp Ethan Allen Training Site in Jericho, Vermont. The new range will allow traditional Soldiers who usually drill one weekend a month and two weeks a year to maximize training time by avoiding travel to Fort Drum, New York.
