15th CST to participate in training at Vermont Health Dept. Lab

Soldiers and Airmen with the Vermont National Guard's 15th Civil Support Team are scheduled to conduct training Jan. 7 at the Vermont Department of Health Laboratory in Colchester. 

The public is advised that this is a training exercise, and no emergency is taking place.

Soldiers and Airmen of the Vermont National Guard’s 15th Civil Support Team are scheduled to conduct training January 7 at the Vermont Department of Health Laboratory in Colchester. The public is advised that this is an EXERCISE and no emergency is taking place.

The exercise is schedule to begin at 9 a.m. and will run most of the day. The exercise will consist of a full-team activation on site with trucks, trailers, and the 15th CST working in hazardous material suits in conjunction with the Vermont Department of Health Laboratory.

The Vermont Department of Health Laboratory will be open to conduct business during this training.

The Vermont National Guard’s 15th Civil Support Team is a uniquely skilled team that is prepared to support local civilian authorities by identifying, assisting and advising an Incident Commander in response to actual or potential use of weapons of mass destruction and all hazards.
