Provost Marshal Office

Redirecting...
  • Intersection of Military and Law Enforcement

The Provost Marshal Office establishes and maintains communication with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to get direct notification when members of the Vermont National Guard have been arrested or may pose a threat to the organization. The office will establish and maintain communication with state attorneys' offices for tracking Vermont National Guard members who have been criminally charged and provide assistance where needed.

In addition, the office will investigate allegations of misconduct of Vermont National Guard Soldiers and Airmen, work closely with the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, judge advocate general, and local law enforcement when a report has been made. Finally, the PMO will assist civilian law enforcement agencies and the Office of Complex Investigations with investigations and reports as needed.
