Drilling and Controlled Rock Blasting Occurring at CEATS

CAMP JOHNSON, Vermont  –  

As part of a the Feigel Hill Bypass construction project at the Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vermont, there will be controlled blasts starting on Dec. 4. The blasting is scheduled to be completed within 10 business days.

Drilling and blasting of rock ledge is scheduled to occur after 8 a.m. and cease before 4 p.m. during this timeframe.

The Feigel Hill Bypass project is being performed to allow better movement on the training site.

All blasters on the job will be licensed in the State of Vermont, familiar with all OSHA, State, and Federal regulations.
