Vermont Air National Guard Innovates, Completes First-Ever Virtual Workshop with African Nation

Across the span of three days in July, the Vermont Air National Guard partnered with the Barnes Center for Enlisted Education at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, Ala., to host the first-ever, entirely virtual engagement with any African Military Education Program school in Africa: a course on professional military education (PME) and continuing education for Senegalese Air Force instructors.

North Macedonia joins NATO as its 30th member

North Macedonia officially completed its accession into NATO as its 30th ally March 27, following the ratification of the alliance’s accession protocol by all 29 member nations and the conclusion of formal ceremonies at the U.S. Department of State. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed North Macedonia into the “NATO family” at a formal flag-raising event held in Brussels.
