Schedule released for Vermont National Guard Olympic biathletes

Vermont National Guard Olympic biathletes will compete in televised events Feb. 5-16, with possibilities to compete on Feb. 18 and 19, National Guard Biathlon training officials announced Feb. 3. Most events will be televised live in the early morning hours on NBC Sports and on www.peacocktv.com, with rebroadcast on USA Network later in the day.

The Vermont National Guard has a new psychological health coordinator. In October 2021 Jordan Imhoff was hired for the position. Imhoff previously served as the Vermont National Guard Alcohol and Drug Control Officer in the Behavioral Services Office.

Vermont National Guard force protection officers practice active shooter response

On Sept. 26-27, the Vermont National Guard hosted a first-of-its-kind active shooter response training conducted at the Vermont Army Mountain Warfare School in Jericho by state civilian force protection employees from the Vermont Army and Air National Guard as well as Air Force security forces Airmen from the 158th Fighter Wing.

Texas Army National Guard Soldiers of the 36th Infantry Division Headquarters and the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, or HHBN, held a mobilization ceremony with their families and friends Jan. 31, 2026, at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. Maj. Gen. Brad Bowlin, the commanding general of the 36th Infantry Division, spoke to the gathered families and friends about the readiness of the unit, the devotion to duty and the importance of support for both the Soldiers and the families. As per tradition, the division commander and Lt. Col. Nathan Collier, the HHBN commander, conducted a review of the troops walk around the formation.
