TUITION BENEFIT PROGRAM

The Vermont National Guard Tuition Benefit Program is an entitlement for qualifying service members at participating schools. This entitlement pays for the cost of tuition for National Guard Soldiers to attend any of these colleges or universities.

If college isn't right for you, each Guard member may enroll in up to 2 training program certificates per term and up to 2 terms per year. That's 4 certificate programs of your choice PER YEAR. For more details, visit the New 100% Tuition Benefit page.

OFFICER TRAINING

After becoming a solider, or after completing college, you decide that a career in the military is the right path for you, becoming an officer may be the next logical step. Officers with the Vermont Army National Guard hold one of the biggest responsibilities to the Guard. This is because Officers are entrusted in developing, training, & leading the men & women of our units. Successfully being able to fulfill this part of the job will lead you to a path of progression to command at a higher level.
