The Partnered Recruiting Initiative for Military and Employers (PRIME) program combines the recruiting efforts of the Vermont National Guard (VTNG) and civilian employers to recruit and retain the best and brightest Vermonters for employment and military service. PRIME helps our Soldiers, Airmen, and their families obtain or improve their full-time employment through direct connections with partner employers.
Supporting this effort is Work for Warriors Vermont (WFWVT), a free career assistance program dedicated to helping Vermont National Guard members, Reservists, Veterans, and their families achieve meaningful, sustainable employment. WFWVT Employment Specialists provide personalized, one-on-one support, including resume development, job search assistance, interview preparation, and career guidance. Together, WFWVT and PRIME create a powerful pathway, preparing candidates for success while connecting them directly to employment opportunities.
Who’s involved?
The VTNG, in partnership with WFWVT, collaborates with businesses across the state and region to support Guard members and their families in finding meaningful, long-term employment. WFWVT helps participants build strong, competitive applications, while PRIME connects qualified candidates with partner employers offering real opportunities.
Vermont Air and Army National Guard members, as well as their dependents, are eligible to participate. Qualified candidates are guaranteed an interview with participating PRIME employers.
