With only four hours of flight on its clock, an F-35 Lightning II from the 158th Fighter Wing out of the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vt., receives fuel from a 434th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker from Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind., over the Midwest Sept. 19, 2019. 434th ARW helps deliver first F-35s to Vermont ANG

GRISSOM AIR RESERVE BASE, Indiana — The 434th Air Refueling Wing refueled two F-35s over the Midwest during their delivery to the 158th Fighter Wing out of the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vermont. The National Guard unit is the first Air National Guard unit to receive the aircraft.
