U.S. Winter Team arrive to CISM World Games 2025 in Switzerland

The 2025 Conseil International Du Sport Militaire (CISM) will be held in Switzerland this year. The United States team arrived for the World Military Games where they will compete in a slew of winter games that range from nordic to alpine skiing, biathlon, and climbing.

““Friendship through Sport” remains the guiding principle of CISM, and we are committed to up-holding this motto. In these challenging times, the bond of friendship stands as a symbol of strength and unwavering unity, reflecting the spirit of the 5th CISM Military World Winter Games under the theme “Military Champions for Peace”" said Maj. Gen. Germaine J.F. Seewer, Chief of International Relations Defence.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on March 24, 2025 at 16:30 (CET) or 11:30 EST and can be live streamed on the CISM website https://www.cism-wmc.ch/en.
