Colby Johnson, Detachment 2, Charlie Company, 1-224th Aviation deploy TAC-V (tactical video downlink) equipment at LZ Birch to support reconnaissance training for VTARNG’s aviation assets as part of their Annual Training on Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho Vt., May 17, 2021. Eastman and Johnson observed and recorded the video and audio from the UH-72’s FLIR (forward looking infrared camera) while maintaining constant communication with the aircraft.
