Vermont Guard restarts Military Funeral Honors training program
CAMP JOHNSON, Vermont - Cadet Dan Borbely and other cadets from the University of Vermont ROTC prepare to receive Military Funeral Honors training certificates from Stephen Holt (background, right) during a ceremony at Camp Johnson, Vermont, Dec. 18, 2020. The cadets completed the first 40-hour course offered by the Vermont National Guard since 2010. The course trains Soldiers how to render honors at funeral services and perform color guards and other ceremonies. Holt is the state MFH program coordinator.
