CEATS: Camp Ethan Allen Training Site

Camp Ethan Allen Training SiteThe Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, located in Jericho, Vermont, is a training facility, home to the Army Mountain Warfare School,  the headquarters of the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain), as well as the headquarters and Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion 172nd Infantry (Mountain). The Vermont National Guard also manages the National Guard Biathlon Team on a world-class training area.

The live-fire events listed below are subject to change to meet training needs. Please feel free to contact the Vermont Army National Guard with any concerns that might arise using the "contact us" form below.

Open Tour Days

 

Tours are scheduled around other training and will be held every 4-6 weeks.

Attendees should meet up at the Joint Readiness Center between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. the day of the tour. Photo ID is required. Please park in the parking lot adjacent to the Joint Readiness Center, first left after entering CEATS.

NOTE: The tour is mostly outside, so please be aware of the weather and bring water, wear sunscreen, proper footwear and proper clothing for the forecast. Food is not provided, so please bring snacks as appropriate, especially for children or those with medical considerations.

ITINERARY

0900 - 0945: Staff introductions, welcoming, CEATS capability brief; load into vehicles for facilities tour
1000 - 1030: Tour barracks, Cram Dining Facility, and classroom
1030 - 1100: Tour Army Mountain Warfare School, ski slope, ice wall, and climbing wall training areas
1100 - 1130: Tour Range 3-1 and Walker building, showcasing National Guard Bureau sports
1130 - 1200: Tour High Angle Range and training area
1200 - 1230: Travel to Range 3-2 and return to Joint Readiness Center
1230 - 1300: Final questions and tour completion
